White chocolate ice cream recipe details
Ingredients
1 l | milk |
12 medium | eggs, yolks only |
200 g | white chocolate, chopped, melted |
100 g | white sugar |
Instructions
Melt chopped chocolate over a double boiler or in a bowl over simmering water.In saucepan bring the milk to the boil.
Whisk the egg yolks with the sugar until pale.
Whisk the milk into the egg mix, add back to the sauce pan and cook until the custard coats the back of a spoon.
Remove from heat and allow to cool for 5 minutes.
Whisk the custard into the white chocolate until smooth. Fill into an cream machine and freeze according to instructions.
