Ingredients
1 medium | egg |
115 g | flour |
230 ml | milk |
1 tsp | sugar |
strawberry jam | |
4 slice(s) | white bread |
1 pinch(es) | salt |
Instructions
For batter beat the egg in a bowl, stir in flour and enough milk to make a smooth paste. Add remaining milk, sugar and salt and beat well.Spread each slice of bread with strawberry jam, then sandwich together.
Cut each sandwich into 4 pieces and dunk each piece into the batter mix. Then fry in a frying pan until the batter is crisp and golden.
