Ingredients
180 g | flour, all-purpose |
½ tsp | cream of tartar |
½ tsp | baking soda |
50 g | sugar |
25 g | butter |
1 medium | egg, beaten |
120 ml | milk |
½ tsp | vinegar |
oil for greasing |
Instructions
First mix together the dry ingredients and then rub in the butter.Mix in the egg and milk to make a thin batter. Add the vinegar and mix well.
Heat a griddle or frying pan and grease it. Drop large spoonfuls of batter into the pan and fry for about 2-3 minutes on both sides or until golden.
