Veal terrine recipe details
Ingredients
500 g | minced veal |
200 g | mushrooms, sliced |
1 | shallot, peeled, chopped finely |
2 | eggs |
2 tbsp | cognac |
salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste |
Instructions
Preheat oven to 200°C.In a bowl, mix the minced veal with shallots, eggs and cognac until well combined. Season with salt and pepper. Place into the fridge and leave there for at least 2 hours.
Fold in the mushrooms and transfer the mixture into a greased terrine mould or loaf tin. Cover with aluminium foil and bake in the oven for about an hour.
Let chill and serve in slices.
