Trout chowder recipe details
Ingredients1. Skinless boneless fish fillets (1pound)
2. garlic powder (1/4tsp)
3. Monterey jack cheese, cubed or shredded (1c)
4. cubed and shredded cheddar cheese (1c)
5. frozen broccoli cuts, thawed (1package)
6. paprika (1/2tsp)
7. Ranch salad dressing (1c)
8. milk (2c)
9. butter or margarine (1tbsp)
10. chopped onion (1med.)
Method of preparation
1. Take a frying pan, melt butter in it and then saute onions in the melted butter until they get tender.
2. Take a slow cooker; transfer the saute red onion in it. Add milk, fish, dressing, cheeses and broccoli and garlic powder in it.
3. Cover the cooker and place it on high heat and then cook it for about 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until the soup gets bubbly and the fish gets flake easily with a fork. Sprinkle the soup with paprika according to your desire.
