Tomatoes with lemon sauce recipe details
Ingredients
6 large | tomatoes, sliced |
For the sauce: | |
120 ml | sesame seed paste |
zest of 2 lemons | |
5 tbsp | lemon juice |
6 tbsp | water |
salt and pepper, to taste |
Instructions
Combine paste, half of the lemon zest and lemon juice in a blender and start to blend. With the motor running, add water and continue to process until mixture is thick and smooth. Add salt to taste, and refrigerate until cold.Arrange tomatoes on a platter in a overlapping pattern. Drizzle the sauce over tomatoes. Scatter remaining lemon zest on top. Sprinkle with salt and freshly ground pepper.
