The arbor’s spider corn bread recipe, recipe Rating: 4.7

Ingredients
1 heaping Tablespoon butter
3/4 cup cornmeal
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon soda
1/2 cup sour milk
1 egg
1/2 cup sweet milk
1/2 cup additional sweet milk
Instructions:

Put butter in 8-inch iron black spider skillet and set in 350-degree oven to melt.

Sift together dry ingredients and add sour milk, egg, and 1/2 cup sweet milk. Add the melted butter from skillet. Mix well and pour back into skillet. Bake about 10 minutes. Add the additional 1/2 cup milk. Do not mix in. Bake an additional 30 minutes.
