Tea loaf recipe details
Ingredients
350 ml | freshly made tea |
250 g | flour, self-rising |
200 g | brown sugar |
350 g | mixed fruit |
2 medium | eggs |
Instructions
Prepare the tea. Pour tea over the fruit and the sugar and leave to soak overnight or even two days.Mix the flour and beaten eggs together with the soaked fruit and sugar.
Preheat oven to 150°C.
Cook in a greased loaf tin for about 1.5 hours.
Cool and serve sliced with butter.
