Tandoori salmon trout with snow peas and mint recipe details
Ingredients
4 | salmon trouts |
2 | limes, juice |
salt and pepper | |
400 g | snow peas |
4 | mild red chili peppers |
4 stalks | celery |
2 | onions |
1 bunch(es) | mint |
1 tbsp | Tandoori Masala |
2 tsp | turmeric |
Instructions
Wash the fish inside and outside. Sprinkle with lime juice, salt and pepper. Wrap each fish with a large piece of aluminium foil, then leave to rest in the fridge for 30 minutes.In the meantime, trim the ends of the snow peas and briefly blanch the peas in boiling salted water. Cut the seeded chili peppers into thin rings. Finely slice the celery and finely chop the onion. Chop the mint.
Heat the broiler of your oven.
Open the aluminium foil over the fishes and evenly divide the snow peas, celery, onions and chilli peppers on top. Sprinkle with tandoori masala, turmeric and mint. Thoroughly close the foil.
Place the fishes into the oven and broil for approximately 7 minutes. After 5 minutes, open the foil and control if the fishes are already done (depends on the thickness of the trouts).
The dish can also be cooked on a BBQ.
