Trout in cream sauce recipe details
Ingredients
4 | trouts, ready to cook, approx. 250-300g each |
1 | lemon, juice |
salt and pepper | |
2 | onions, chopped |
1 bunch(es) | parsley, 1-2 bunches |
100 g | butter |
100 g | flour |
300 g | single cream |
Instructions
Rinse the trouts with water and pat dry. Sprinkle the fish inside and outside with lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper. Wash and pat dry the parsley, pick the leaves from the stalks. Set the leaves aside for another use. Fill the trouts with the parsley stalks and the onions.Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Place the butter in a roaster and transfer the roaster in the oven to melt the butter. Remove from oven. First turn the fishes in flour, then in the melted butter. Place the fishes side by side in the roaster then transfer the roaster into the oven again. After 5 minutes pour the single cream on top and bake for further 15-20 minutes.
