stuffed trout recipe details
Ingredients
2 | whole trout, about 450g each, cleaned and scales removed. |
50 g | fresh mushrooms, cleaned and sliced |
4 | spring onions, cleaned and finely sliced |
2 tbsp | Parmesan cheese, grated |
salt and fresh ground pepper, to taste |
Instructions
Mix together the mushrooms, onions and cheese. Spoon the mixture into the cavity of each fish and then season well.Close the cavities with wooden skewers of tooth picks pre-soaked in water and grill about 4 inches, 10cm from the heat for about 7 minutes on each side until the flesh flakes easily.
Serve immediately with boiled new potatoes in butter.
