Ingredients
1 tbsp | butter |
1 medium | onion, chopped |
2 tsp | Dijon mustard |
2 tsp | cornstarch |
1 tbsp | fresh parsley, chopped |
240 ml | beef broth |
Instructions
Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add onion; cook until tender.Stir in sherry and mustard and cook until liquid is reduced by half, about 2 minutes.
Mix cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of the broth and stir until smooth. Then add parsley and remaining broth.
Bring to a quick boil and then reduce heat to low. Cook until sauce thickens slightly, stirring constantly.
