Ingredients
200 g | spinach leaves |
400 g | butter beans, canned |
2 clove(s) | garlic |
1 small | onion, chopped and fried |
1 pinch(es) | cumin powder |
1 | egg, beaten |
salt and pepper | |
a little oil |
Instructions
Place the spinach in a pan with a little water and wilt over a low heat.Add the beans, onion, garlic,egg and the spices to a food processor and blend until smooth. Stir in the spinach (drained and chopped) and chill for an hour.
Shape into patties (I always wet my hands before because it prevents them from sticking ) and heat a little oil in a pan. Fry on each side until golden in colour.
