INGREDIENTS:Serves 2
300g spare ribs (meaty part)
3 tbsp black bean and garlic sauce
1 red chili, remove seeds and chop finely
1/2 tsp light soy sauce
1 tsp cornflour
1 tsp rice wine
1 tsp sugar
Dash of pepper
1/2 tsp sesame oil
METHOD:
- Clean and chop spare ribs. Place in a stainless steel or heatproof dish.
- Add all the rest of the ingredients to spare ribs and marinade for at least 1 hour.
- Bring water of a simmer to boil. Steam spare ribs at rapid boiling water for 45 minutes.
- Serve hot.
NOTE:
- If you do not have black bean and garlic sauce, prepare the sauce by using 30g of salted black beans and 3 gloves of garlic (chopped). Soak salted black beans in water, then chop and sauté with chopped garlic. Use sauce as instructed above.
