Ingredients
300 g | soy beans, dried |
100 ml | honey |
1 | green onion, chopped |
50 ml | vinegar |
¼ tsp | basil |
⅛ tsp | garlic powder |
salt and pepper, to taste |
Instructions
Cover soy beans with water in a bowl and let stand for at least 2 hours; drain.Place soy beans in a large pot with 1.5 litre water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and leave to simmer, about 1.5 hours; drain.
In a bowl combine honey, vinegar, salt, basil, garlic powder and pepper. Pour over soybeans. Chill at least 4 hours before serving, stirring occasionally.
