When you’re looking at a bowl of ricotta for the 10th day in a row, you have to try something different. This one came out so well I had to share it with my other phase 1 dieters. Enjoy!

Ingredients
Serves: 1- 1 teaspoon slivered almonds
- 1/2 cup part-skim ricotta cheese
- 2 teaspoons Splenda(R) or other sugar substitute
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/8 teaspoon banana extract
Preparation method
Prep: 5 mins | Cook: 5 mins1. Put almonds in frying pan over medium heat, stir occasionally until toasted.
2. While almonds are toasting, mix ricotta cheese, Splenda, and vanilla extract. Divide into 3 portions. Mix cocoa powder into one portion. Mix banana extract into another portion. Place 3 portions into a bowl with chocolate in the middle. Sprinkle with toasted almonds.
