Ingredients

4 tbsp sesame seeds
2 tbsp peanut butter
2 tbsp light soy sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp hoisin sauce
1 tbsp tomato puree
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp rice wine
150 ml vegetable stock

Instructions

In a pan heat the sesame seeds until fragrant. Allow to cool and grind in a mortar.

In a saucepan heat the stock and whisk in all the other ingredients until the sauce is smooth and well combined. Heat gently, but donít allow to boil.

Serve with chicken satay or beef satay.
