Ingredients
200 g | plain flour |
150 g | soft butter |
2 tbsp | crème fraîche |
200 g | Emmentaler cheese, grated |
1 pinch(es) | salt |
1 | paprika powder |
1 medium | egg yolk |
1 tbsp | single cream |
3 tbsp | sesame seed |
Instructions
In a bowl, mix together the flour, butter, crème fraîche, grated cheese, salt and paprika powder. Knead until well combined. Allow to stand for half an hour.Preheat the oven to 180° C.
Mix together the egg yolk and the cream. Roll out the dough. Cut out little cookies, e.g. stars, hearts, flours. Brush the cookies with the egg yolk and cream mixture and sprinkle with sesame seed. Place the cookies onto a lined baking tray.
Bake for approximately 10 minutes or until golden brown.
