Ritz cracker stuffing recipe details
Using a few basic ingredients, this stuffing baked in the oven has been a favorite at our Thanksgiving meal for years. It can be prepared the night before and refrigerated until ready to bake.
Ready in: 1 hour
Ingredients
Serves: 10- 2 boxes of Ritz(R) low-fat crackers
- 2 medium onions
- 4 stalks of celery
- 2 carrots
- 2 1/2 cups water
Preparation method
Prep: 30 mins | Cook: 30 mins1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray a 9×13 baking dish with nonstick spray.
2. In food processor using steel blade, chop crackers until fine.
3. With steel blade, chop onions and celery. Place in frying pan and saute until softened.
4. Shred the carrots in the processor.
5. Mix the cracker crumbs, onions, celery, shredded carrots, and enough water to make mixture stay together. Place in the prepared baking dish.
6. Bake, uncovered, in the preheated oven until lightly browned and heated through, about 30 minutes.
