Red currants ice cream recipe details
Ingredients
200 g | red currants |
80 g | white sugar |
170 ml | milk |
120 ml | whipping cream |
1 medium | egg, yolk only |
Instructions
Combine the red currants, milk and sugar in a blender and process until smooth.Whip the heavy cream until soft peak form. Add in the egg yolk and mix well.
Combine the red currant purée and whipped cream mixture and pour into an ice cream maker, stirring for about 40 minutes.
Freeze according to manufacturer’s directions.
