Quick lemon cake recipe details
Ingredients
250 g | butter, soft |
250 g | sugar |
250 g | flour |
½ pack(s) | baking powder |
3 medium | eggs |
2 | lemons, juice |
3 tbsp | icing sugar |
Instructions
Cream together the butter and the sugar, then whisk in the eggs. Sift in the flour and the baking powder and stir until well combined. Stir in the juice of ½ a lemon.Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Pour the batter into a buttered cake form and bake for 30 minutes.
Mix together the icing sugar and the remaining lemon juice and spread the cake with the icing. Allow to dry.
