You’re a busy guy. You’ve got ballgames to watch, beer to drink, dogs to pet. So maybe you don’t have hours to sit by a smoker. Tasty ribs can still be yours with this fast grill-to-oven method.
Ready in: 55 mins
Ingredients
Serves: 4
- 12 pork spare ribs, thin ends, separated into ribs
- 1/4 cup clear honey
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons ketchup
- 3 drops Tabasco(R) sauce, or to taste
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1/2 teaspoon mustard powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 small orange, juiced
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
Preparation method
Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 40 mins
1. Heat grill to high and preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Grill ribs until browned and crispy, about 10 minutes. Turn halfway through cooking. Place in 13×9-inch baking dish, making sure none of them are overlapping.
3. Combine honey, soy sauce, ketchup, Tabasco(R), and garlic in a mixing bowl. Then add mustard powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Finally, stir in the orange juice and vinegar, and make sure everything’s combined.
4. Cover the ribs with the sauce. Place dish in oven and bake for 30 minutes.
