Pumpkin muffins recipe details
- Ingredients
- 1-1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup canned pumpkin
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 egg
- Pecan pieces and sugar for topping
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Combine flour, brown sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg in large mixing bowl. Mix in the milk, pumpkin, butter and egg. Blend well. Turn into greased muffin tin.
Sprinkle with sugar and pecans. Bake for 16 minutes.
Note:These muffins freeze very well.
