Ingredients
4 small | beef tenderloin steaks, this can also be done with lamb |
200 g | garlic cheese, for example Boursin |
500 g | puff pastry |
8 slice(s) | bacon |
salt and pepper | |
paprika powder | |
fresh rosemary | |
1 | egg |
some | oil |
Instructions
Roll out the puff pastry and cut into 4 rectangles.Season the meat and fry in some hot oil until brownish. Cut the bacon into meat size length and put onto the pastry. Add the fried meat and spread the garlic cheese onto the meat. Cover with the leftover bacon. Wrap up the puff pastry into a parcel and “glue” the openings with some cold water. Brush with the beaten egg and add a small twig of rosemary.
Bake in the oven at 220°C for 30 minutes and serve with vegetables.
