Ingredients
Serves: 4- 1/2 cup butter, cut into chunks
- 1 cup diced onions
- 2 cups fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 pounds pork tenderloin or boneless center-cut pork chops
- 1 cup Italian-flavored bread crumbs
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tsp garlic powder
Preparation method
Prep: 20 mins | Cook: 20 mins1. Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add onions, mushrooms, and 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning. Stir frequently & cook til mushrooms get crispy.
2. Dice pork tenderloin into 1″ x 1″ cubes & place in a large resealable plastic bag. Add bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder & remaining Italian seasoning.
3. Seal the bag, shake to cost the pork thoroughly, and lay it on a counter or table. With the palm of your hands, pound the pork to break down the muscle fibers. Flip the bag over & repeat the pounding a couple of times.
4. Add the entire contents of the plastic resealable bag to the mushroom and onion mixture, along with the remaining butter. Turn the heat to medium-high & cook til the breaded pork browns up, stirring frequently.
5. Serve with BBQ sauce or your favorite dipping sauce or just put it on your plate & eat it!
