Pork spare ribs in whisky marinade recipe details
Ingredients
3 sprig(s) | rosemary, chopped |
1 ½ kg | spare ribs, trimmed and cut into serving pieces |
2 clove(s) | garlic, chopped |
3 tbsp | whisky |
2 tbsp | tomato puree |
8 tbsp | ketchup |
1 tbsp | Worcestershire sauce |
1 tbsp | Tabasco sauce |
1 tbsp | brown sugar |
salt and pepper |
Instructions
In a large shallow dish, mix the ketchup with rosemary, whisky, tomato purée, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco, sugar and garlic. Season with salt and pepper.Put the spare ribs into the dish and coat them with the marinade. Place into the fridge and marinate for 6 hours.
Preheat a grill. Grill the spare ribs for 20 minutes or until deeply browned, turning and basting with the marinade frequently.
