Plum liqueur recipe details
Ingredients
1 kg | plums |
750 ml | water |
1 | cinnamon stick |
500 g | sugar |
20 g | vanilla sugar |
700 ml | vodka |
350 ml | white rum |
Instructions
Heat up plums, water and the cinnamon stick and cook for 30 minutes. Strain it through a strainer or a cloth. Put the juice back into a pot and add the sugar and vanilla sugar to the hot juice. Let stand and rest for up to 8 hours or over night.Then mix it with the Vodka and Rum and mix well. Fill it into nice bottles.
Heat it up and serve it with some whipped cream and a dash of cinnamon or drink it straight from the fridge.
