Plum dessert cake recipe details
Ingredients
300 g | plums, pitted, quartered |
50 g | sugar |
100 g | butter |
2 tsp | fresh lemon juice |
200 g | sugar |
2 medium | eggs |
100 g | flour |
1 tsp | baking powder |
½ tsp | salt |
½ tsp | cinnamon, ground |
Instructions
Preheat oven to 180°C.Arrange the plums in the bottom of a greased baking pan. Sprinkle with 50g of sugar.
Cream together the butter, lemon juice and remaining sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Combine flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Add to the butter and egg mixture and stir until well blended.
Spoon the batter over the plums.
Bake for about 40-45 minutes.
Serve warm or cool.
