Plum conserves recipe details
Ingredients
700 g | plums, pitted, chopped |
600 g | sugar |
250 g | orange, peeled, chopped |
orange rind from 1 orange | |
1 tsp | cinnamon |
100 g | pecans, chopped |
Instructions
Combine all ingredients, except pecans, in a large pot and bing to a boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Cook until fruit is soft.Add pecans and cook and stir for 5 more minutes.
Pour into hot jars leaving a bit of head space. Seal and place for 15 minutes in boiling water.
Cool to room temperature and then place in fridge.
