Ingredients
800 g | plums, pitted, halved |
800 g | apples, peeled, cored, sliced |
500 ml | water |
1 ½ kg | sugar |
100 ml | lemon juice |
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a pot and cook the fruit slowly until the skins of the plums are softened. Stir over low heat to dissolve the sugar. Bring to the boil and then reduce flame. Continue cooking over low heat, 30-45 minutes.Fill into jars and seal.
