Persimmon cake recipe details
Ingredients
300 g | flour |
½ tsp | baking powder |
2 tsp | baking soda |
½ tsp | salt |
400 g | sugar |
240 ml | milk |
470 g | persimmon pulp |
2 medium | eggs |
2 tsp | vanilla extract |
some | butter |
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 150°C.In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder and soda, salt and sugar. Set aside. In a separate bowl, combine the eggs, persimmon pulp, milk and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.
Pour the persimmon mixture into the flour mixture. Stir until well combined. Then pour the mixture into a greased and floured loaf pan. Bake for 75-90 minutes.
Remove from the heat and allow to cool for 15 minutes. Remove from the loaf pan and cool on a wire rack.
