Ingredients
4 slice(s) | white toast bread without crust |
1 piece(s) | mozzarella cheese |
4 leaves | basil |
4 slice(s) | Parma ham |
1 large can(s) | anchovies |
2 medium | eggs |
some | milk |
some | flour |
salt | |
pepper | |
some | olive oil |
Instructions
Lay out the toast bread slices and put the following onto two of the slices: Parma ham, slices of mozzarella, basil leaves and anchovies. Cover with the two remaining toast bread slices.Push them with your hands together so the contents will not fall out. Beat the eggs in a wide bowl, add salt and pepper. Pour some milk in another bowl and prepare a dish with some flour.
Turn the breads in milk, then in flour and then let them soak in the eggs for approx 10 minutes.
Fry the toasts in a little oil until they are golden brown. Pan’dorato = golden bread. Serve warm!
