One step christmas crab quiche recipe details
- Ingredients
- Pillsburyrefrigerated fluted pie crust
- 1/4 cup finely chopped Vidalia onion
- 1/4 cup finely diced red bell pepper
- 1 cup of chopped, blanched and drained fresh Swiss chard (or frozen chopped spinach)
- 1 cup whole milk or half and half
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup diced Swiss cheese
- One 8-ounce package of softened cream cheese, cut in 1/2 inch squares
- 1/2 pound fresh crab meat
Line pie plate (preferably The Inn at Christmas Farm’s signature Deep Dish Christmas Farm Pie Plate) with pie crust.
In a large bowl, whisk thoroughly 3 eggs. Add and mix together all other items listed above, except crab meat. Lastly, stir in gently the crab meat and pour into Christmas Farm Pie Dish. Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees F for 1 hour. Remove; dust with Old Bay seasoning and serve at table in 5 minutes.
