This is great way to do steaks on the grill. It is a very simple recipe but it produces a wonderful flavor and gives your steak a nice crust like the nice Steakhouses do.

Ingredients

Serves: 4

• 2 tablespoons bold ground coffee or espresso
• 1 tablespoon fresh ground peppercorns
• 1 tablespoon seasoned pepper
• 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning or cayenne pepper
• 4 steaks of your choice – NY strip or ribeyes work best

Preparation method

Prep: 45 mins | Cook: 15 mins

1. In a small bowl mix dry ingredients well. Sprinkle on steaks and rub into the steak so that each side is fully covered. Let set at least 30 minutes.
2. Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat, and lightly oil the grate.
3. Cook steaks on each side for 3 to 4 minutes. Then move the steaks to a more indirect spot of the grill or lower the heat and cook until steaks reach desired internal temperature.
