Nut based vegan and vegetarian gravy recipe details
Ingredients
2 tbsp | butter |
3 tbsp | flour |
500 ml | milk |
100 g | nuts: cashews, almonds, pecans etc |
salt and pepper, to taste |
Instructions
Melt the butter in a saucepan. Whisk in flour and stir continuously for one minute.Remove from heat for 2-3 minutes and then return to stove. Whisk in the milk and nuts. Bring to a simmer and stir constantly, until thickened, 3-5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper and serve.
