No eggs no milk no butter cake recipe details
Ingredients
500 ml | water |
200 g | sugar |
150 g | shortening |
1 tsp | cloves |
1 tsp | cinnamon |
1 tsp | salt |
1 tsp | baking soda |
300 g | flour |
60 g | pecans, chopped |
Instructions
Bring to a boil water, sugar and shortening for about 5 min; Leave to cool.Add cinnamon, cloves, soda, and flour. Mix well. Add chopped pecans. Pour into two loaf pans and bake at 180°C for 1 hour.
Leave to cool, wrap in foil and refrigerate for 2 days before serving.
