Molasses muffins recipe details
Ingredients
2 tbsp | molasses sugar |
150 g | brown sugar |
55 g | margarine |
2 medium | egg(s) |
200 g | rice bran |
240 ml | buttermilk |
200 g | rice flour |
1 tsp | baking soda |
Instructions
Preheat oven to 180°C.In a bowl stir together baking soda and molasses. Keep stirring until everything is foamy and light in colour. Set aside.
Mix together brown sugar and margarine together until creamy. Then beat in eggs, rice bran and pour in buttermilk, molasses and baking soda. Lastly beat in rice flour.
Spoon into greased tin 1/2 to 3/4 full and bake for 30 minutes.
