Mocha semifreddo recipe details
Ingredients
3 medium | eggs, yolks and whites separated |
100 g | sugar |
500 ml | whipping cream |
1 tsp | vanilla extract |
20 ml | freshly brewed espresso, cooled |
2 tbsp | cocoa powder |
Instructions
Line a loaf pan with plastic wrap.Whip egg yolks with sugar until thick and light. In a another bowl, whip cream and vanilla until stiff. Add cold espresso and cocoa powder. Combine both mixtures.
In a clean bowl whip egg whites to soft peaks and then gently fold into egg yolk mixture.
Pour mixture into the prepared loaf pan, cover and freeze overnight.
