Mincemeat turnovers recipe details
- Ingredients
- packaged pie crust mix
- jar of mincemeat
- milk
- sugar (granulated)
Prepare pie crust mix according to package directions. Roll out thin. Using a drinking glass with a 3-inch diameter, cut out circles of pie crust. Place 1 teaspoon of mincemeat on each circle. Fold circle in half and crimp edges with a fork. Brush with milk and sprinkle with sugar. Bake at temperature recommended on pie crust package for approximately 10 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on racks. Freeze when cool. To reheat: place on ungreased cookie sheet, tent with foil, and heat in a 300-degree oven for 10 minutes.
