Macadamia nut island cookies recipe details
- Ingredients
- 1-2/3 cups flour
- 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup butter
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/3 cup granulated (white) sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1 cup flaked coconut
- 2 cups white chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup macadamia nuts
Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl. Beat butter, brown sugar, white sugar, and vanilla in large mixer bowl until creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in white chocolate chips, coconut, and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
