Ingredients
3 cups flour
2-1/2 cups sugar
1 cup cooking oil
4 eggs
1/2 teaspoon salt
Juice of 2 oranges, or 7 Tablespoons frozen orange juice
2-1/2 teaspoons vanilla
3 teaspoons baking powder
4 Granny Smith apples, sliced
2 teaspoons cinnamon
5 Tablespoons sugar
Instructions:

Mix apples, cinnamon, and sugar in a bowl. Grease and flour angel food pan. Beat together remaining ingredients. Alternate layers of batter and apples in the pan, ending with apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 35 minutes.
