J paul's fish tacos recipe details
These tacos are simple, good, and filling. I prefer catfish, but you can use any kind of fish fillet you want.
Ready in: 20 mins
Ingredients
Serves: 1- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 catfish fillet
- Creole seasoning to taste
- 1 slice onion, cut in half
- 1 clove garlic, sliced
- 1 small jalapeno pepper, chopped fine (de-seed, if you want)
- butter
- 1 flour tortilla
- 2 tablespoons colby jack cheese, grated
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
Preparation method
Prep: 10 mins | Cook: 10 mins1. Heat olive oil in a skillet.
2. Season fish with Creole seasoning and sear in pan. Saute onions, garlic and pepper in the pan with the fish.
3. Spread butter on tortilla and heat. Add grated cheese and cilantro. When fish is done, put on tortilla with onions and peppers; fold tortilla in half and enjoy.
