Ingredients
1 kg | prawn, uncooked, peeled |
2 | onion, coarsley chopped |
3 | tomatoes, chopped |
1 | green chili, chopped |
4 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
2 tbsp | ginger, minced |
2 tsp | garam masala |
2 tsp | coriander powder |
1 tsp | cumin powder |
400 ml | coconut milk |
salt | |
oil for frying |
Instructions
Mix onion, tomatoes and chili in a blender until a smooth paste forms.
Fry the paste in very little oil. Add ginger and garlic and fry for one more minute. Add the spices and fry till the oil separates. Add the coconut milk and bring to a boil. Season with salt to taste. Now add the prawns and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink.
Serve with rice.
