Honey apple kugel recipe details
Ingredients
500 g | egg noodles |
6 medium | eggs |
220 ml | honey |
60 g | pecans, chopped |
2 | baking apple, peeled. cored, grated |
1 tsp | cinnamon |
120 ml | orange juice |
2 tbsp | brown sugar |
80 g | oat bran flakes |
2 tbsp | margerine |
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease a baking dish with some butter.Cook egg noodles in slightly salted water until tender. Drain and then place noodles in a large bowl.
In another bowl, lightly beat the eggs, add the honey, pecans, apples, cinnamon, and orange juice.
Pour the mixture over the noodles and toss gently and then transfer the mixture to the baking dish.
Sprinkle the top with brown sugar and bran flakes and dot the margarine.
Bake for 1 hour.
