Honey almond pie recipe details
Ingredients
1 | pie crust |
3 medium | eggs |
150 g | sugar |
180 g | corn syrup |
80 g | butter, melted |
1 tsp | almond extract, divided |
80 g | almonds, sliced, toasted |
250 ml | whipping cream |
2 tbsp | powdered sugar |
½ tsp | vanilla |
4 tbsp | honey |
Instructions
Lightly beat the eggs and gradually add the granulated sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, honey and the almond extract. Mix well. Stir in almonds.Pour filling into pie crust and bake at 180°C for 45-50 minutes. Leave to cool on rack.
Whip the cream, powdered sugar, and remaining extracts until soft peaks form. Serve pie with a dollop of the cream.
