Homemade mayonnaise recipe details
Ingredients
2 | egg yolk |
270 ml | pure olive oil or pure vegetable oil |
1 tbsp | lemon juice, freshly squeezed |
1 tsp | Dijon mustard |
some | salt |
some | white pepper, freshly ground |
Instructions
Make sure all ingredients are at room temperature.(very important!)Mix together the egg yolk and the mustard, add a little bit of lemon juice and whisk well.
Keep on whisking the mixture and add little drops of oil step by step. The mixture should be thickening slowly. Keep on doing this until it thickens to your taste. Finally add pepper and salt
