Ingredients
salt and freshly ground black pepper | |
1 tbsp | cold butter, in flakes |
3 tsp | green peppercorns, pickled |
200 ml | beef stock |
100 ml | dry red wine |
sugar |
Instructions
Bring the stock with the wine to a boil and cook over low heat for 10 minutes.Stir in the green pepper and whisk in the cold butter to thicken the sauce. Season to taste with salt, sugar and pepper.
Serve hot with steak.
