Simple, delicious, flavor-filled treat that makes everyone’s mouth sing with delight. It’s the little things that brings out the flavor and makes this recipe stand out from the rest.
Ready in: 1 hour 55 mins

Ingredients

Serves: 24
  • 1 1/2 cups peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup + 2 1/2 tablespoons sweet cream butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 (24 ounce) package chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil

Preparation method

Prep: 20 mins | Cook: 5 mins | Extra time: 1 hour 30 mins, chilling

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, butter, vanilla and sugar. Mix until stiff.
2. Using your hands, roll dough into balls about 1-inch in size, placing them on parchment or wax paper. Once done, place balls in the fridge to cool and set for 1 hour.
3. In a double boiler (or microwave safe dish), melt the chocolate chips and oil, about 2 minutes.
4. Using a toothpick, dip each ball into the melted chocolate and return to the paper. Cover the hole from the toothpick using a drop of chocolate from the next ball.
5. Return to fridge for 30 minutes to allow the chocolate to set. Serve, store any leftovers in fridge.Alternate Method

To add a little more kick, drizzle the completed chocolate balls with white chocolate or melted peanut butter chips for a rich taste with a fancy appearance.
