Fruit fritters recipe details
Ingredients
100 g | flour, sifted |
1 tsp | baking powder |
1 tbsp | sugar |
½ tsp | salt |
2 medium | eggs, separated |
120 ml | milk |
1 tbsp | corn oil |
vegetable oil for frying | |
Fresh fruit: | |
banana | |
peach slices | |
apple slices | |
fresh berries | |
For garnish: | |
powdered sugar |
Instructions
Batter:Sift together flour, baking powder, sugar and salt.
In another bowl mix togther egg yolks, milk, and corn oil. Combine with dry ingredients and stir until well mixed.
In a third bowl beat egg whites and fold into the batter.
Fritters:
Pour oil into a deep fryer. Put banana chunks or any other fruit of your choice in the batter; spoon into frying pan and fry for 3 to 4 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
To serve sprinkle hot fritters with powdered sugar.
