Fish in mustard sauce recipe details
Ingredients
3 | fish fillets, e.g. coalfish |
1 tsp | mustard |
1 | egg yolk |
150 g | crème fraîche |
2 tbsp | milk |
2 tbsp | vegetable oil |
salt and pepper |
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 180°C.Put the fish fillets side by side into an ovenproof pan, drizzle with oil and place into the oven for 20 minutes.
In the meantime whisk the egg yolk with milk, mustard and crème fraîche until the sauce is well combined and smooth. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
After 20 minutes take the fish out of the oven, coat with the sauce and return into the oven for another 5 minutes.
Serve immediately with fresh baguette, potatoes or rice and some green salad.
